QSR, Nathan’s Famous Gears Up for Growth with Two New Leaders

Nathan’s Famous, Inc. has named a Subway executive and franchising industry veteran to direct its franchise development and operational services/training efforts going forward. 

Assuming the role of senior director of Franchise Development, Erik Mallon, comes to the brand from a previous position as Huntington Learning Centers vice president of franchise development and director of company center operations. In his new role, he will focus on the sales process from initial solicitation through contract completion.

Additionally, former Subway Country Director, U.S. West  Jim Hicks assumes the role of director of Operational Services and Training at Nathan’s, where he create new systems and procedures to maximize sales for each store, manage the supply chain and work with new franchisees through the various stages of the restaurant development process.
